Thanks for checking out the Heartstrings Hat!
Although ‘heart strings’ are actual anatomical structures (fibrous tissues that connect valves and muscles in the heart), this hat’s name takes a more literal approach. Like its cousins, the Heartstrings shawl and cowl, this pattern uses simple two-stitch cables and slipped stitches to create geometric hearts…on strings. This double-layered hat is completely reversible, with one side showcasing the textured heartstrings while the other showing off some simple stockinette, each side knit in different colors.
