Thanks for checking out the Evergreen Cowl!

This nature-themed, texture-driven cowl is a fun knit composed of reverse stockinette, cabled, and slipped stitches to create the image of a regal evergreen tree. As you knit, increases performed along the stem of the tree are cabled over the existing stitches. By varying the length of these cables over many rows, the shape of the tree emerges. Knit in the round, this cowl knits up fairly fast and is a perfect opportunity to show off some gorgeous tonal yarn.

Note: The way this cowl is knit can make it difficult to fix mistakes that are 2 or more rows back without having to rip out entire rows. If you are wary about making mistakes and having to rip out rows, this pattern might not be for you.
